Welcome to First Parish Bridgewater

First Parish Bridgewater is a welcoming, warm congregation of justice-seekers and meaning-makers. The mission of First Parish Church is to be a voice for the liberal religious values and principles of Unitarian Universalism in the community. First Parish Bridgewater is a Welcoming Congregation. Love is the power that holds us together. We live our faith values by welcoming all people with love and open hearts. No matter who you are, no matter who you love, and no matter where you are in your spiritual path, you are welcome here.

Family Chapel Service

On the first Sunday of each month, our creative and compassionate Religious Educators host a Family Chapel service in the Upper Parish Hall at 10:30 a.m, concurrent with the worship service. The Family Chapel experience is designed with the youngest members of our community in mind. Each month we explore a different spiritual theme with fun, family-centered activities. Children and their adult family members are encouraged to participate together.

Social Justice

The mission of the Social Justice Committee (SJC) is to inform the congregation about social justice concerns, both locally and globally, and to lead it in taking action where possible. The Social Justice Committee oversees its own projects, while also acting as a facilitator for three “branch” committees: a Peace Committee, a Green Sanctuary Committee, and the Welcoming Congregation Renewal
